How Easy Is It to Install? 

More straightforward than most people assume — particularly with the TradeMat Plus. The 'Tack n Stick' adhesive backing means the mat stays in position while you work, and the pre-spaced cable removes the need for any measuring or calculation of cable runs. 

The general installation process for a TradeMat Plus system is: 

1. Prepare the subfloor 
2. Unroll and position the mat in the heated area
3. Use the Tack n Stick backing to fix the mat in position
4. Connect the cable to the timerstat (electrical connection by a qualified electrician)
5. Lay floor adhesive and tiles over the mat
6. Set up the timerstat once tiling is complete
