How it works:

• Heat Transfer via the Coil: The cylinder contains a heat exchanger coil with a large surface area (2m²) designed specifically for heat pumps. The heat pump extracts ambient heat from the air, ground, or water and transfers it to the fluid circulating through the coil inside the cylinder.
• Heating the Water: As the heated fluid passes through the coil, it transfers its heat to the stored water in the cylinder. The large surface area of the coil ensures efficient heat exchange, maximizing the system’s energy output.

• Hot Water Storage: The cylinder stores the heated water at a consistent temperature. Since it is unvented, it operates at mains water pressure, providing high-pressure hot water throughout the home or building

• Efficient Insulation: The cylinder is well-insulated to minimize heat loss, ensuring that the water remains hot for extended periods, further enhancing energy efficiency.

• System Compatibility: The design ensures compatibility with heat pumps by supporting the required flow rates and temperatures, optimizing the system's overall efficiency and performance.
